Vesen Göcek is designed around a direct relationship with the sea, treating water not merely as a visual element but as an integral component of the architecture. In this unique settlement, where seawater extends into the interiors, living units arranged along linear axes offer users a continuous water experience.

Within the plan organization, the water element functions as a spine that defines both public and semi-private spaces. Residential units aligned along this water axis are equipped with private docks and terrace areas, allowing users direct interaction with the water.

Each unit defines its boundaries with natural stone walls, ensuring environmental privacy. These walls provide both visual and physical separation, enhancing the comfort of semi-open spaces. In this way, while neighborhood relationships are articulated, the continuity of individual living is preserved.

Material selection prioritizes natural textures and tones; elements such as stone, wood, and glass are interpreted with a simplicity that integrates seamlessly with the landscape. Masses oriented parallel to the water allow controlled daylight penetration into interiors while creating visual continuity through rhythmic horizontal repetition.

The dominance of a horizontal mass language across the project establishes a spatial threshold between land and sea. Vesen Göcek introduces a contemporary and refined approach to coastal living through its landscape-integrated architecture, marina connection, and constructed water channels.
