Developed in the aftermath of the Malatya earthquake, this housing project is designed with the primary goal of creating safe, resilient, and livable environments. Comprising a total of 52 parcels, the project is conceived as a large-scale, integrated settlement that goes beyond addressing basic shelter needs, aiming instead to support the social and psychological recovery of its residents. In this context, building configurations, open space strategies, and social amenities are all approached through a holistic design framework.

Within the master plan, balanced spacing between residential blocks ensures maximum access to natural daylight while promoting effective natural ventilation. Generous green areas, pedestrian-oriented circulation routes, and children’s playgrounds offer residents a safe and high-quality outdoor experience. Centrally located communal spaces are designed to strengthen neighborhood relationships and help rebuild a sense of community across the entire settlement.

The architectural language adopts a simple, contemporary, and sustainable approach, with a strong emphasis on durability and long-term performance in material selection. All structures are designed in accordance with current seismic regulations, ensuring high safety standards.

As a comprehensive development consisting of 52 parcels, this project stands out as a model for post-disaster reconstruction in Malatya, contributing to the city’s recovery by creating secure, well-designed, and community-oriented living environments.
