BMC Technology Park is located on Bilkent Boulevard, one of the rapidly developing areas of Ankara. The coexistence of different functions in the area has enabled the development of an unconventional concept for BMC’s headquarters and technology park within the design approach.

The development process is one of the most important keys to understanding a brand’s ideology, while also containing a wide range of data. BMC continues to evolve like durable gears, constantly adding new achievements to its quality. Non-wearing gears represent the perceptible success of a machine. The gear form proposed in the project is inspired by this idea, aiming to combine an iconic spatial character with office life in harmony. Through the formal language of the design, users are invited into the building.

The design approach is strengthened through the combination of circular masses, forming a structure that is intended to become a local landmark within its environment. The primary goal of the design is to create a working environment that emphasizes technology while offering optimized working conditions.

With its distinctive form and transparent façade, the building establishes a strong relationship between its users and the main arterial road. The campus consists of three interconnected circular structures that include office spaces, research units, a showroom, a museum presenting BMC’s historical development, and research laboratories. These circular volumes are positioned in an interlocking configuration shaped by the topography.

BMC Technology Park is designed for approximately 1,000 employees from different departments. One of the key criteria during the design process was to ensure access for long vehicles within the laboratories. For this reason, high floor heights and wide-span structural systems have been considered as integral components of the architectural design.
