Sadık Ahmet Spor Tesisi

Sadık Ahmet Sports Center is designed as a contemporary sports and public gathering space in Yıldırım, Bursa, supporting social life within the urban fabric. In a densely built environment, the project aims to go beyond being merely a sports facility, establishing a strong urban focal point with high public use potential.

The core of the design approach lies in integrating the site’s topographical data into the architectural composition. Terraces and open spaces created at different levels transform the sports center from a purely enclosed structure into a multi-layered public platform that can be experienced throughout the day. These terraced landscape areas are conceived as spaces for relaxation, walking, and open-air activities that encourage social interaction.

The main sports volume, positioned at the upper level, forms a recognizable urban reference point with its strong and simple architectural form, while the public terraces at lower levels establish a permeable relationship between the building and the city. Large staircases and open circulation areas are designed as key spatial elements that guide user movement.

Through its architectural form, public open spaces, and landscape-integrated layered organization, Sadık Ahmet Sports Center is proposed not only as a sports facility but as a new urban meeting point that strengthens social life in Yıldırım.
